Darryl Alladice is a performance poet/storyteller who grew up in Harlem and Brooklyn, New York. Darryl’s performances are informed by his training as an actor and storyteller. He will enthrall and charm you - he brings his poetry alive when he reads.
Darryl's work has been produced and performed at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Asolo Theater of Florida, Black Box Theater and Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, New York's Schomburg Center, Frederick Douglass Creative Arts Center, City College of New York, and various venues around New York City. His poetry collections include Jaundice and Measuring in Liters.
Darryl is a founding Board member of One Breath Rising.
